Whistleblower Policy

MTAA Super is committed to preventing losses caused by unethical, illegal and irresponsible acts.

It has adopted a Whistleblower Protection Program that encourages, protects and supports the responsible reporting of incidents of fraud, corrupt conduct, questionable accounting or auditing matters and serious adverse behaviour from all potential sources of such information and particularly from sources internal to the Fund.

This is undertaken by an independent company, Your-Call which enables you to report securely, anonymously and confidentially any incidents.

Anyone (including a Fund member, employer, employee or a third party service provider) who has an honest belief based on reasonable grounds that an illegal or corrupt act or any other improper conduct may have occurred in relation to MTAA Super, may disclose that concern to Your-Call. Your disclosure to Your-Call will be treated with utmost confidentiality.

Simply log on and click on “Click Here to Make a Secure Report” Follow the prompts and enter the MTAA Super unique identifier code MTAA1989.

Your-Call does NOT have telephone number identification for either inbound or outbound telephone calls. Where anonymity is desired, Your-Call will provide you with a code and security password for the purposes of any further contact and/or feedback.

Any disclosure you make (whether by telephone, email, website or mail) will be reviewed by Your-Call D.M.S. and a report will be provided to MTAA Super Executive Management.

Whistleblower Rights, Protections and Practical Support

The Fund is committed to providing the required protections and support to an Eligible Whistleblower. To do so, the Trustee has adopted a Whistleblower Policy that encourages, protects and supports the responsible reporting of incidents of fraud, corrupt conduct, questionable accounting or auditing matters and serious adverse behaviour from all potential sources of such information and particularly from sources internal to the Fund. This Policy outlines the types of disclosures that qualify for protection under the law as well as the processes the Trustee has in place

An Eligible Whistleblower has the right to an expectation of anonymity and to not fear reprisal after making a Protected Disclosure.

Details of the rights of Eligible Whisteblowers are explained throughout the Whistleblower Policy, however in additional to the minimum requirements, the Trustee is committed to providing any Eligible Whistleblower and any implicated staff member (or their families) support during the course of, or following the verdict of, an investigation.

All staff (and their families) or any Eligible Whistleblower is able to access support via the Trustee’s Employee Assistance Program (EAP). Use of the system is on a confidential basis. You may access the EAP using the following details:
