How do I claim a tax deduction on my personal contributions?
Claiming a tax deduction on your extra super contributions (up to the concessional cap) means you’ll pay less tax on your income. Here’s a handy step-by-step process to help you lodge your tax-deduction claim.
We send out annual statements in September. We'll let you know when you can access your annual statement online. For information about your recent transactions, you can find a transaction listing in your Member SuperSite account.
How do I access your financial advice?
As an MTAA Super member, you have access to advice about your super at no additional cost — it’s all covered by your admin fees.
To get simple advice over the phone, contact your nearest Superannuation Adviser.
Your first consultation with an IFS planner is at no additional cost to you. Once you have discussed your financial situation and needs with the planner, they will provide you an obligation free itemised fixed quote.
If you decided to go ahead, all advice is provided on a strictly fee-for-service basis. Fees charged will depend on the complexity of the advice required. There are no commissions or hidden fees. Where the advice applies only to your super, the fee can be deducted from your MTAA Super account.
