“Working in the pit crew for a Supercar team such as Team Vortex 888 is something that most of our apprentices aspire to, and today is an amazing opportunity for some of our apprentices to meet Craig” Mr Moir continued.
The Balcatta Training Centre is a custom designed facility which showcases technical best practice for the automotive industry. Over 200 apprentices and pre apprentices will be trained at the facility; and qualified technicians practicing their trade will also come to further develop their skills in specialist areas.
“We’ve designed this centre to be a training hub for the whole WA automotive industry” Mr Moir said, “I’d love to see this place full of technicians at every stage in their career, whether they’re starting out or experienced techs who are learning the latest technologies. This centre is equipped to do it all.”
