MTAA Super is proud to announce its partnership with TeamVortex, the new race team created by Triple Eight Race Engineering (T8).
In the driver’s seat of car #888, will be the reigning King of the Mountain and six time Bathurst winner, Craig Lowndes.
“We are excited to support the team and Craig Lowndes, an icon of the sport and one of the highest ranking sports people in Australia,’’ said CEO of MTAA Super, Leeanne Turner.
“Craig has been a great ambassador for the sport over the past twenty years and a great embodiment of the Fund’s hallmark values of integrity, entrepreneurial spirit and community.
In addition to promoting the Fund on a national scale, this partnership is a perfect fit with one of the Fund’s near and dear priorities, that of supporting and rewarding the ambitions of apprentices to the motor industry.
As part of the partnership, MTAA Super is able to offer promising apprentices in training the chance to visit and learn from race team personnel from the Triple Eight Race engineering workshop in Brisbane.
Even more enticing to young apprentices is the once in a lifetime opportunity to be embedded within the race team during Championship race events. The partnership kicked off this season on March 3-6 with the Clipsal 500 in Adelaide.
