Travel abroad with an Auto Skills Australia Churchill Fellowship
The Churchill Trust — a trust dedicated to helping Australians to travel overseas to investigate a topic in their chosen field — has launched a new Fellowship award to drive change in the Australian automotive sector.
The Auto Skills Australia Churchill Fellowships are available nationally for projects that will provide a clear benefit to the future of the Australian automotive and allied industries.
Projects may include research, investigation and observation of automotive industry practises and processes that are not readily available in Australia.
Undertaking training in skills development specific to the automotive sector that is not available in Australia will also be considered.
Fellowship recipients will have access to the Churchill Trust’s Learning Framework, which includes foundation skills training, ongoing support, mentoring, and financial assistance for disseminating findings when they return.
Two or three Fellowships will be awarded annually from 2019. Applications close 30 April 2019.
