Making an insurance claim can be a daunting task at what is already a difficult time. So to make things easier for MTAA Super members, we’ve simplified the claims process for Total and Permanent Disablement (TPD) and Income Protection by introducing new tools and resources including:
Tele Claims service
This phone service is offered to all MTAA Super members making a TPD or Income Protection claim. Instead of filling in forms, you can choose to have a Claims Assessor give you a call and talk through the details of your claim. Given that members making a claim may be incapacitated in some way, this personal service helps to make the claims process less painful and easier to navigate
Online Claims Tracker
The Claims Tracker is a secure online portal that allows you to track the progress of your claim from a computer or mobile device.
It allows you to view the timeline of events associated with your claim, submit documents online and check if there are any outstanding items still required. With the Claims Tracker you can also find contact details for your dedicated Claims Assessor and easily access answers to frequently asked questions
