Last year Carbon Neutral planted 2,500 Australian native trees on behalf of MTAA Super members who went digital. It was such a success, we’re doing it again!
For the first 2,500 members who register for Member SuperSite or ePension before 27 May 2018, we'll arrange for Carbon Neutral to plant one Australian native tree.
By going digital you'll be helping us print less and reduce our environmental impact. You’ll also get 24/7 access to your MTAA Super account online.
About the Plant-a-Tree Program
Why plant trees?
As well as helping to remove carbon from our atmosphere, planting trees and shrubs helps to reduce soil salinity, combats wind and water erosion, enhances biodiversity and helps to restore the habitat for native animals.
Planting trees also provides local employment and supports local business in the areas where planting takes place.
Where will the trees be planted?
Carbon Neutral plants trees and shrubs in The Yarra Yarra Biodiversity Corridor in Western Australia's northern agricultural region approximately 400km north of Perth.
This area is one of 35 globally recognised biodiversity ‘hotspots’. These ‘hotspots’ cover just 2.3% of the Earth’s land mass but support more than half the world’s most irreplaceable and threatened biodiversity.
