The JobKeeper Payment scheme is a temporary subsidy for businesses affected by coronavirus.
Eligible employers can currently apply to receive $1,500 per eligible employee per fortnight.
On 21 July the federal government announced changes to the JobKeeper Payment scheme.
The scheme, which was originally due to cease on 28 September 2020, has been extended through to 28 March 2021.
From 28 September 2020 employers seeking to claim JobKeeper payments will be required to reassess their eligibility for the JobKeeper extension with reference to their actual turnover.
There will also be a change in the JobKeeper payment rates for eligible employees, based on average hours worked.
