MTAA Super

The V8 Supercar Series, an international, world class car racing event is strongly supported by many MTAA Super members, particularly those members that work in the motoring industry. In recognition of the importance that the V8 Supercar Championship Series plays in promoting the Australian motoring industry and the associated trade professionals and as a bi-partisan measure, MTAA Super also sponsors both the Holden Racing Team and Ford Performance Racing Team.

MTAA Super also sponsors the V8 Supercars Series as a means of better communicating with our young membership who are generally not as engaged with their superannuation arrangements. Once engaged, we believe there is a far greater likelihood that the Fund can help members to learn more about their superannuation and insurance in order for them to properly provide for a secure working life and an adequate retirement benefit for themselves and their families.

As an integral part of the sponsorship arrangements with V8 Supercars Australia, MTAA Super also seeks to encourage young students into the retail motor trades and to support existing apprentices already studying through a number of initiatives.

Experience of a lifetime winners

Congratulations to Beau Levy and Leeanne Jaud, winners of our V8 Supercars Experience of a Lifetime Competition.

Beau a mechanic from NSW spent time with Ford Performance Racing at their workshop. Leeanne a Business Manager from SA spent time with Walkinshaw Racing and the Holden Racing Team.  Both Beau and Leeanne enjoyed a fantastic weekend at V8 Supercars Sandown 500.
